Princess Diana
Was
her tragic death her destiny?
If astrology (or any
discipline) can foretell a sudden tragedy does that mean
that there are no true accidents in life but only
predestined eruptions? And if life is a journey with a plan
then perhaps there is a reason for everything. By exploring
the astrology chart of Diana Spencer maybe we can come to
understand this provocative question a little more.
Diana was born July 1, 1961. She is a typical mother Cancer
with a Sagittarius Rising suggesting her basic outlook in
life is honest, outgoing and independent with the Moon in
Aquarius, an emotional need to reach out to people of all
walks of life in a Cancerian nurturing way. She has the
savior, saint Neptune in her 10th house of careers and a
major t-square aspect to Venus, the planet of love and
beauty. And this powerful Venus rules her 10th house of
careers from the 5th house of children. These
configurations had certainly played out in her great need
to not only be a savior of children with all her many
charities but also taking as serious her role as a mother.
But Diana was born with Uranus, Mars, Pluto and the North
Node in the 8th house of death and transformation. Shocking
and unpredictable Uranus in the 8th can manifest as sudden
to an unusual death. The North Node is a point of where
your destiny is headed. Before her death that probably
meant how she was destined to transform the world in some
small way. Mars is the planet of anger, fighting and
accidents. Before her untimely end this played out with the
rage that couldn’t be totally expressed in her marriage
that manifested in her beating up her own body with the
falls and the bulimia. Pluto is the planet of death and
transformation sitting in the 8th house of the same. Mars
is also very close to Pluto which in the positive is about
being driven in her crusades to transform the world but in
the negative, as written in any astrological textbook, is
the marker of a violent death from accidents to murder. And
many Europeans that I spoke with on my recent trip to
London after the funeral are convinced that she was
assassinated along with Dodi with the reasoning that a
Moslem and an Egyptian could never be the stepfather of the
future King of England. It seems far fetched to me but it
wouldn’t be totally out of reality with her astrology
chart.
Within 24 hours of a solar eclipse at 9 degrees of Virgo
Diana was gone. Her Mars’s is at 1 degree of Virgo and the
Pluto is at 6 degrees, and so, the violent predictor of
Mars Pluto in the house of death, erupted when the eclipse
triggered her blueprint of a sudden and violent ending. The
difficulties of predicting such a tragedy is which
planetary aspect is going to trigger the event. But one
thing is for sure, a powerful eclipse cannot cause anything
to happen that isn’t programmed in one’s horoscope. Also,
there are many people born the same few days that Diana’s
was born with the same rising sign which places those same
difficult planets in the 8th house. And all these people
around the world did not die. Therefore, ;predicting the
exact time of death is nearly impossible, in most cases,
but it was pretty obvious that death would be part of her
legacy. Don’t forget that Diana was a champion for those
with terminal diseases and for the world elimination of
deadly land mines. Perhaps death for her was not written in
granite but her intense drive to help the suffering of
those dying in the world was certainly the crusade that she
had taken on. Therefore, with her chart and how she was
directed, and with the knowledge that energy can not be
destroyed, I am sure that her crusade for charity will
indeed live on and help transform us all for the better.
Why do you think Ted Turner is giving the billion dollars
to the United Nations charities?
