Saturn enters Libra October 29, 2009 until 2012
Saturn is the planet signifying
economics, business, and government as well as; reality,
maturity, and responsibilities. When a person doesn’t deal
with reality nor takes responsibility for their actions
then the dark side of Saturn will bring suffering, endings,
worries and heavy burdens. Saturn doesn’t want to bring
misery. It wants to point out the areas that each
individual needs to pay attention to and do what is
necessary. Saturn can be a teacher or a taskmaster and
therefore it is your choice and remember that “pain is
inevitable but suffering is optional.”
Saturn had been transiting Virgo the past 2 years. Virgo is
the sign that rules work, service and health. The past 2
years serious Saturn has been directing our attention to
Virgo matters, or in other words; a downturn in work or the
high unemployment rate in the US, plus President Obama’s
call for community service, and then there is the big pink
elephant in the room; the US health care battle.
Saturn enters Libra from October 29, 2009 through April 7,
2010 but then returns to Virgo to make sure we learned our
Virgo lessons from April 7 to July 21, 2010. This last
cycle of Saturn in Virgo may be when the US public knows if
it will have health care reform or not. I predict yes.
Saturn will then re-enter Libra July 21, 2010 until October
5, 2012.
The sign Libra indicates diplomacy, mediation, balance,
harmony and relationships. On the dark side Libra can be
indecisive as it takes forever to weigh all of its options
before making a commitment. The bright goal for Saturn’s
journey through Libra might be world peace treaties earned
through patient diplomacy. The US contentious stalemate
battle for health care reform may have a breakthrough with
Saturn in Libra as compromise becomes an important factor
to help bring the opposing sides to a resolution.
Saturn in Libra points out where each of us needs to find
compromise and a peaceful solution to our individual
challenges. Saturn’s cycle is 29 ½ years and the last time
it was in Libra was September 1980 through August 1983.
